Liberty Round Table will present “An evening of Solutions for Restoring Liberty in America.” The meeting will go from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Xango Building 2889 Ashotn Blvd. Lehi, UT 84043. This will undoubtedly be the most important meeting that the Constitution Party has supported this year. Speakers will include Scott Bradley, Sam Bushman and Sheriff Richard Mack.

Those of you who heard Sam Bushman at the CP National Committee meeting in Couer d’Alene, ID know what kind of a treat you are in for. His presentation was spell binding and won a standing ovation. His presentation and Scott Bradley’s talk at the same event were among the most well received talks.

14-9-2011 Cynthia Davis, officially resigns from the GOP   
Former 4-term Republican Missouri State Representative, Cynthia Davis, officially resigned from the GOP and joined the Constitution Party; she plans to campaign for the office of Lt. Governor, a statewide race, in 2012.

SHE COULD TRULY BE THE FIRST CONSTITUTION PARTY CANDIDATE WHO COULD WIN A STATEWIDE RACE. HER OPPONENT IS BEING FUNDED BY THE CLONING INDUSTRY IN AN EFFORT TO PUSH LEGISLATION IN A SPECIAL SESSION FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CHINA HUB AT ST. LOUIS LAMBERT AIRPORT. MANY TEA PARTIES ALL AROUND THE STATE ARE ALREADY SCHEDULING HER TO SPEAK AT THEIR EVENTS, AND SHE HAS ALREADY SPOKEN AT 4 OR 5 IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS. SHE IS STILL GOOD FRIENDS WITH HER COLLEAGUES, WHO ARE RE-THINKING THEIR CRITICISM OF WHAT SHE HAS DONE.

I URGE you to read the attached copy of the actual letter sent to nearly 300 media contacts that provides an inside (up close and personal) analysis of the GOP and her reasons for leaving and joining the CP. It is a lovely letter that exposes the GOP for what they are. (See National News, this issue)

Of course, she is now being bombarded with nasty Facebook messages as well as responses to the 2 blogs below that responded to our Media Advisory. Rep. Davis is a well-seasoned politician with thick skin, but I sure hope she doesn't get too beat down and regrets her decision to join is.

If possible, we would appreciate your spreading the word for our fellow CPers to log in and counter the nasty remarks with something nice.

Last week I wrote a message requesting the assistance of our Constitution Party members to get a good attendance out to hear former Congressmen Virgil Goode who will be speaking at the Larry Miller Campus of the Salt Lake Community College on October 4th. I cannot stress just how important this event is. There is a high probability that Goode will be the CP presidential candidate in 2012 and it is therefore imperative that we fill the auditorium to capacity. If we fail to do so, it will be hard to convince him to return here if and when he does become our presidential candidate.

As many of you may now know, former Congressman Virgil Goode of the 5th Congressional District in Virginia recently joined the Constitution Party. His switch to the CP caught the attention of the national news media. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Constitution Party and will be attending the upcoming national executive and committee meetings of the party in Couer d'Alene, Idaho October 6th through the 8th.

News has been all over the Internet stating that Congressman Ron Paul will not be running for another term in Congress in 2012. The reason being touted is that not running for Congress will enable him to focus on running for the office of U S President. However, the real reason for his choosing not to run for Congress again is that the Texas state legislature has gerrymandered his district in such a way that it would be impossible for him to be re-elected to Congress. T he same thing was done to oust him after the 2000 Census, and yet Paul was still able to win. This is not going to be happening this time around.

His strong warning of what lies ahead and his willingness to tell the truth about the seriousness of where our nation is heading seems to be a key reason why the Texas Legislature gerrymandered his congressional district so that he could not possibly be reelected again to his congressional seat.

Word has been received that Couer d’Alene, ID click for Convention Center has been selected over Spokane, WA as the site of our fall national committee meeting of the Constitution Party. The dates of the meetings are October 6th through October 8th. Utah is entitled to have seven delegates who will represent our state at that meeting.

This past week end was the annual Freedom Day Festival held in Provo, UT. The Constitution Party has sponsored a booth there for the past several years. A sincere and heartfelt thanks of appreciation goes to the Utah County Chair, Suzette Allen and her husband Mike for pulling off our most successful booth ever. Thanks too to those local Utah County party members who helped man the booth.

Word was received this past week from the CP National Office regarding the upcoming fall National Committee Meeting of the party. It will be held in Coeur d’Alene, ID on October 6, 7, 8 at the Coeur d'Alene Resort. The seven national committee members elected at the state convention should make plans now to attend this meeting. Coeur d’Alene is within one day’s travel time of Utah and it is hoped that we will have a full delegation in attendance. It will be two y ears down the road before we will have another such meeting in the Western States.

Is written by a German financial adviser and writer. It is an article that I would hope each of our party members would read and study and then forward on to close family and friends. The article is one of the best I have read on the topic of inflation and portrays the grim situation that lies ahead of us in the near future. Only when we as citizens become fully aware of the seriousness of the impending crisis that awaits us, will we become motivated enough to become involved and begin to solve the problems we face. Until we fully understand the nature and seriousness of what is happening to our nation, we are in no position to begin teaching others about it and the working together to begin to reverse the course we are heading down.

We now have 722 signatures turned in to Gareth Robertson in WY on the ballot access drive.
Thus far the WY people have been gathering signatures on their own which is very gratifying.

The Wyoming Constitution Party under the leadership of Rex Fritzler is moving ahead with their ballot petition drive. The kick off date was April 1st, the first day the party could legally begin gathering signatures for ballot position. Since then the group has been working numerous gun shows as well as simply gathering signatures from friends, family and neighbors.

After visiting family in Houston for a week (including the Saturday of the State Convention), what a surprise to be informed by email that I had been nominated to the State Chair. With Frank's withdrawal to spend more time as the chair of the Western States Region, I accept this nomination and assignment of great responsibility in leading our state in the preservation of our liberties and our freedoms.
