Here is my request. We need to spread the word through Facebook, through Twitter, and through our national and state membership lists and newsletters lists asking any of members who might have friends and relatives in HI and who are politically sympathetic to our cause to do the following:
1) Contact those people in Hawaii immediately and ask them to contact Rick Martinez at 307-920-0123 or email him at rickatrawlins@yahoo.com
2) Rick will then respond to them and let them know where he is currently gathering signatures in the Honolulu area and where they can meet up with him to sign the petition. Hey must be registered to vote in Hawaii.
3) They then need to spread the word to others to do the same.
4) This way we can meet our deadline and secure party ballot position for the party
Rick was one of the key volunteer people who helped secure ballot position in Wyoming, the first time ever that a third party has obtained ballot position on a strictly volunteer basis in that state’s history. We can repeat that success in Hawaii if we get your help. Rick is volunteering his time to gather signatures, but the party has paid for his airfare and lodging costs, so any donation you could send to the national for this purpose would be much appreciated. Not having to pay for each signature is saving the party thousands of dollars. Any people who would be willing to help Rick would be greatly appreciated.
Please forward this message on to everyone that you know. With everyone getting involved we can accomplish this task in very short order, but your action is needed immediately today if this is to be accomplished. Each of you is the key to our success in this endeavor.
